Should I Buy A Extended Warranty If I Get A $1400 TV?

You did not bother to mention how much the tv cost and how much the warranty is.

But no, do not do it.  Samsung is  a good brand and they have some of the highest rated tv 's on the market .

If you are worried about the reliability of a product you are better off getting one with a better reputation.  But LCD tv s are very reliable now and they will last for years.    

However I would not buy a tv online like that.  Buy if from Best Buy or Sears or Costco etc....someone that is going to be in business 2,3 years from now.  Be careful. Sometimes there are resellers that sell online and the manufacturer will not honor the warranty or any sales from these companies.    I would buy a book online but I would not buy something that expensive.  But that is just me.

if your paying that much for a tv you better get an extended warranty
