  1. I'm not quite sure what you mean when you say your 90 days are almost up.

Is this a probationary period during which the employer will evaluate your performance and then decide whether to keep you on full time or dismiss you? If this is the case, your manager is the person who will recommend what action should be taken.

You mention that your manager is an evil, miserable person, and this gives me the impression that you do not get on very well together. If this is how you feel about the manager, you could well convey this to the manager in your body language.

The best solution to 'clear the air' is to have a quiet chat together. Why not ask to see your manager after work so that you may discuss a few matters of concern. Suggest that you go for a cup of coffee somewhere close by. Often when you talk about something it resolves the problem. It is also nice to know that while we are not able to choose who are our workmates, we choose who are our friends. Whatever you do you must keep trying to do your best.

One of the most important things to remember when at work is that we are there to work for the benefit of the company. This is a 'give and take' situation. We give of our time and expertise and are paid for this service. Above all we must work as a team. I have found over many years of experience that it helps to keep that in mind. Often I have said to people that while we may not agree on many things we are there to work together to achieve the company's objectives and we must strive to do so, so lets get on with the task ahead, and forget our differences.

When you get to having that chat with the manager, explain that you like the job and wish to continue there. Ask, what if anything, is worrying the manager about your performance and the way you are working there.

Managers are also under stress to improve what goes on in their divisions. They are constantly being asked to increase productivity and performance. Your manager may also have some very worrying personal problems that are affecting work relationships. Try to be a little considerate.

  2. You have a decision to make.   You say that you like your job but that your boss is "evil".   Please don't look to get fired.  A lot of people believe that it's OK to wait to get fired.  This can hurt you.  Not only is unemployment not guaranteed when you get fired but future companies may want to know why you left and may base employment decisions on your answers (it's amazing what information you can obtain being a skillful interviewer).   My advise would be to go to your manager and explain to them how much you like it there and ask them to help you understand what your whole job is and how can you do better in it.   If he/she works with you great.  If not then start looking, you don't want to be hanging around a place that doesn't want to help you.

  3. Keep right on working!  If they don't like you and your performance make sure they do fire you.  Definitely do not quit!  If you get fired take the unemployment and relax while you are lookig for another job.  Just remember if they fire you, it happens to people every day!  Just don't be depressed if they do.

  4. Don't quit or you can't get unemployment, email me, might have other an alternative for you!!

  5. Many people quit because of their boss not because of their job.

Do what is right for you. Certainly don't give up.

    :)

  6. Stay there and work hard. Don't let obstacles like her get in the way of what makes your life happy.

Try and go over the obstacle.

Meaning do something about it like maybe file a complaint to someone higher if she is indeed being unfair and biased on things.

Or if your a nice person do it the hard way and confront her. Maybe she has problems you don't see and is just letting it out on the people around her then it would be nice to help her. (I wouldn't really do this much work.)
