Should I Get A PS3.....?

Question

Well my situation is this, I own every nintendo system from the NES to the wii, and nothing else but the original X-box. Now any nintendo game from years ago is so amazingly fun Zelda, Smash Bros, Adventure Island, Megaman, Brawl, Super Mario series and so on. But lately every wii game sucks except Brawl, and Galaxy, every awesome game only comes out for 360 and PS3, my birthday is less than a month away and I want to get a PS3, should I, and could you list some good games? I have a PS3, only have three games for it now, would buy more if I had more time to play them. I have GTA 4, The Elder Scrolls4:Oblivion and Ninja Gaiden Sigma. Some games I'd like to get are Devil May Cry 4, Metal Gear Solid 4, Heavenly Sword and F.e.a.r since I've never played it on the PC.  Maybe the Darkness since I heard that was a good game to. If I had the Wii I'd only have Zelda, Metroid and Resident Evil4. I'm like you, I've always loved the old Nintendo games. The Original NES is still my favorite system.

Dude, I have the same situation, except that instead of the X Box all i own is the PS2. My birthday is Sept 18 and I am thinking of getting th PS3 because of all its features including Blu Ray. We should both get the PS3 because it is the best gaming system out.

Yes you should get a ps3 it has free online play not like the xbox live were you have to pay every month the ps3 also has bluray which is higher than HD. Plus it sixaxis controller wich is a good feature to make your games more fun. Here are the best games for the ps3

Call Of Duty 4 it has the best online play and you have tons of fun 18 players online you defentley have to get this

Metal gear solid 4 it has a long story line which gets you involed in the story and the graphics are just breath taking 16 players online

Motor storm which is a destructive and fun racing game

Battle field bad company this game is a fun shooting game where everything is destructable plus its 24 players online you have tanks helicopters, jeeps, boats and the maps are huge

don't listen to the first person. she has no idea what she's talking about. a ps3 is so worth it. don't listen to 360 fanboys, the ps3 is an amazing piece of hardware. i originally got a wii but like you, i got bored with it. i wanted all these games that are out or will be out for ps3. i'm a huge FF fan and to miss out on a game like that, i just couldn''t bare it. so a couple days ago i bought myself a ps3 and it just blows the wii away. i mean its the best console i ever had. and i'm so excited with all these great games coming out. here's a list of just a few of the great games that are out or will be out for the ps3.

Yes get a PS3! My 360 is gathering dust whilst my PS3 is regularly played (when I have the time).

Games worth mentioning:

I just saw another comment and I want to emphasise the PS3 is NOTHING like the PS2. Do your research. Also I personally think the Wii is over-hyped and the games are 1 dimentional.

Lol, the first girl didn't even read the question. He said he already has a Wii... And plus, the PS3 is a HUGE leap forward from the PS2. PS2 still rocks, but the PS3 is a HUGE leap forward.

PS3 rocks! Amazing graphics, SIXAXIS motion-sensor, you can store media inside the PS3, Blu-Ray player, so much more!

The PS3 has Metal Gear Solid 4, Killzone 2, Resistance 1 and 2, LittleBigPlanet, Uncharted, Warhawk, Motorstorm, and lots more! It is a great system, definitely buy it.
