Should I Get City Of Heroes?

I've been wanting this game for a while now and its been actually a couple of years and i dont know if i should still get it. what im not sure about is becuase its been open for a couple of years do alot of people still go on the game. Plus is it funn?

City of Heroes/Villains updates regularly, and has introduced 12 "issues" or major content additions since it began. There are still plenty of folks playing it.
