Question:

Should I Get My Ear Syringed?

I have an appointment for tomorrow, and need to still put oil in my ear tonight and tomorrow, because I haven't done so yet, because my ear hasn't gone blocked for the past week. It seems fine, but I still sleep upright to stop it going blocked too.

Because my ear feels fine, I don't feel right blocking it up with oil for the night, but I don't want my ear to go blocked again after cancelling my appoinment, because that happened last time.

  1. Get it done and over with.

You have a plug of earwax in there that has to come out even though it is dislodged now.

  2. If it was me I would just go through with it, it wont do you any harm in the long term to have your ears syringed, and it may even solve the issue you have been having.

Be brave and go for it.

  3. a friend of mine who is totally blind, and who uses his hearing more that we who have the use of our eyes, said that he had his ears syringed once and he would recommend using oil to clear any blockages.

  4. just go through with it, honestly it saves a lot of hastle! i hate putting oil in my ear i was always paranoid about it getting in my hair whilst i was sleeping!
