Should I Get The Xbox 360 Arcade?

Is it good? I want a 360 but my parents are only gonna get the cheapest one lol which is the arcade so im just wondering if its good. is it lol? and should i get it for my Bday or Xmas because they are only 24 days apart so yeah. Should I?

no. it is a waste of money. with the pro and elite you get more for your buck. I have the Elite and i dont regret it!

I would get the Pro or the Elite, the arcade is basically a box. it wont come in any use to you at all.

Whilst you do get much better value for money with the other configurations it does depend rather on what you're going to use it for. The main draw here is the hard disk, but think about what you would do with the machine: if you're planning to download films, demos, videos and so on or use Xbox original games then the Arcade won't be much good.

If you're only ever going to play Xbox 360 games and you're not too bothered about downloading extra in-game content or loads of Xbox Live Arcade Games then the Arcade will be more than sufficient for your needs.

The 360s that don't come with a HDD are a rip off.

Its cheaper to buy a model that comes with the HDD then it is to get the Arcade model + buying the HDD separately.

Get the Xbox 360 Premium system.

Take a look at the differences:

Xbox 360 Arcade:

- 256MB memory card

- Composite cable

- A few arcade games

Xbox 360 Premium:

- 60GB Hard Drive

- Composite/Component Cable

- Ethernet Cable

- Headset

Arcade is not good
