Should I Get a Myspace Profile?

Question

Well I'm underage but I won't use my real name or anything I just want to see what you can do and how fun it is. Is it fun and should I get one even though I'm not giving out any personal information and not using my real name?

its up to you really but sometimes some people can figure out your address and then everything will turn out bad

I had this dilemma when I was younger. I just went for it. Keep everything private and just add friends, it'll be safe.

Do any of your friends have Facebook? I like it a lot better.

YOU CAN GET 1...IT DOSENT REALLY MATTER IF U  USE UR REAL NAME ND YEA MYSPACE IS FUN BUT U HAVE TO HAVE FRIENDS TO TALK TO AND STUFF....AND IF U GET BORED THEY HAVE GAMES U CAN PLAY ID SAY U SHOULD GET ONE AND JUST DONT ADD STRANGERS...

First of all, ask your parents.  If they say no, they usually have a good reason.

Then, if they said yes, ask your friends if they have.  Trust me, Myspace gets really boring if you don't have friends.  Use your school friends/family as a base for your Myspace, and then make more friends later on.

No you should not.

I had one, it was private and had no information on it.

But they are very dangerous, I know from experience.

A friend of mine had one, and she just turned 13. She had no information but her first name, and it was private.

But she is now being stalked by an old man who lives in our city!

Its scary. Trust me, I know they are fun, but i personally don't think its worth it.

if u didn't have one 2 years ago when it was booming, u certainly dont need one now. how about facebook, or yearbook. those are aimed more for school networking so it'll be more likely for you to have some fun online with your peers and classmates rather than people you probably would never meet, and most likely don't want to meet.
