  1. Here are the positives and the negatives

Postives- you get arguably the best player in baseball right now in Josh Hamilton.  Brandon Lyon will get you Saves and you really need that.  Crawford isn't having a great year, he's doing fine, but not great and you replace hime with Hamilton

Negatives- Replacing Hanley with Hardy isn't a great move.  Hardy isn't playing close to his potential and there might be better SS in FA.  And from what I see you need more K's and Harang is at the top at K's (maybe the Reds will surprise us all and trade him and maybe he will get more wins).

Though even with all the negatives, accept the deal.  This is a one time offer for Hamilton and he's for real.  I though highly suggest to look at FA SS in your league

  2. No way.  You could argue that every player you are giving up is better then any players you are getting back.  You are giving the top fantasy in the game, and are going to replace him with JJ Hardy?  Sure Hamilton is great, but Crawford plays on the best team in baseball, and is their spark plug, his SB and runs will more then make up for what Hamilton gives you in power.  Plus your giving up a pretty good pitchers for Lyons, who I bet there are better gius on you waiver wire then Lyons.  I wouldn't do this.

  3. I say do it. Hardy and Hamilton are excellent hitters, and Lyon is a really good closer. You don't have any closers on your team, so you need Lyon. And your team has lots of speed, so you can afford to trade away Ramirez and Crawford. You also have Hardy to fill in for SS once you get him and Hamilton to fill in for Crawford once you get him. Your starting pitching is also a good thing, so trading away Harang won't hurt you too much. Accept the trade.

  4. well you dont have a closer and Hamilton is having an amazing year, so yeah, you should do it

  5. Don't do it because you will have speed from Crawford and Ramirez, Ramirez also has power. Crawford can get up to 50 steals a year. Hardy is prone to getting into nasty slumps. Hardy is not much of a base stealer and still makes a lot of errors. Lyon doesn't have overpowering stuff. Ramirez hits for high averages and is a great fielder. Harang pitches effectively. Crawford is also an excellent fielder. It is a bad deal, don't make it. If you want you can, it's not my choice.

  6. ummmmmmmmmm...... Why is this a question. You are giving up 2 TOP tier players and a 3rd tier pitcher for a 4th tier player, a 5th tier player, and a 4th tier closer. yes Hamilton is good but why would you even get rid of Crawford for those 3. Hamilton is still an unproven player in my mind although was always projected to be good.

  7. You have more than enough speed to compensate losing Crawford and Ramirez. You will get more RBI's and HR's from Hamilton and Hardy (who I expect to have a huge second half).  harang isn't anything special and you dont have a single closer.  As much as I hate the thought of trading Ramirez, I say go ahead and do it.  Your team is too built up on speed to say no to this.
