  1. ya! its suprisingly easy. i thought it would be hard at first, but if you gradually cut the meat out of your diet, you wint miss it at all. by being a vegetarian, you will reduce the demand of meat needed. this will resault in less animals being born on factory farms. evey year an average person eats 95 to 100 animals. if you stop, this is how many animals will not have to be born into horrible lives. good luck! : )

  2. Animals eat other animals. It's just how the world works. There's billions and billions of other people out there that eat meat, if you make it one less, it doesn't change the amount of animals being killed.

By becoming a vegetarian, you're not making any difference.

  3. Organic free range meat comes from animals treated humanely.

  4. Yes ma'am, I think you should. :P

  5. it would be nice to save them but meat and chicken ect are good protein

  6. if you don't want to eat the meat not because it is meat but because of the way the animals are killed, i would consider going kosher, not vegetarian. the animals are killed in much more of a humane way, though they are still killed. i don't know everything about it but if it sound interesting you can check out these sites and pages. oh and do know that most sites about kosher food will most likely be directed to Jewish people because most of the people that eat following a kosher diet are Jewish, i'm pretty sure it was developed by them. (:

feel free to message me if you have anyquestion you think i might be able to answer, and good luck with whatever you decide to do. (:

but i must say, being a vegetarian isn't that hard unless you eat meat alot, and your saving alot of animals (:

  7. dont be influenced by what other people say. you know what happens to these animals and i think the best advice is follow your natural instinct. does it feel right to eat meat? if not, then dont force yourself to eat it. try going vegetarian for a week, then 2 weeks, then 3. see how you like it.

  8. they would have died anyways... so no problem.

  9. yes be a vegetarian. it is healthier and you will feel better about yourself mentally and physically.

  10. No. There is a difference between animal cruelty and animal consumption. You can advocate animal welfare and still eat meat. IMO, the best way to do this would be to only eat free range organic fed animals. They are treated way better than mass produced commercially farmed livestock and the absence of chemicals is way better for you too. Also, just cutting back on meat consumption in general is very good for the environment and your own health. Humans are natural carnivores, but in a natural state we wouldn't be able to have meat at every meal. The grocery stores are always there, but if you had to track down a buffalo or something for your meat, you probably wouldn't have meat a lot. I only eat fish and poultry once a week and red meat once a month. Better for you and better for the environment. If you want to help animals, eat organic meat. Good luck.

  11. YES, it just your REAL beginning now.

  12. If you know how wrong it is, it would make sense that you do your best not no support it.

If you consider becoming vegetarian, there are things that you should know. You don't need any special or expensive foods as a vegetarian. Bread, pasta, cereal, rice, beans, peas, lentils, nuts, seeds, fruits and veggies can provide everything that you need except B12. Protein, calcium, iron and everything else are found easily in plant foods.

All vegetarians should take a b12 supplement regularly since most people eat meat, dairy AND fortified cereals yet still have a b12 status that is lower than recommended. B12 is not made by animals, it is made by bacteria, so there are vegetarian sources.

No matter what you've heard or what you will hear, vegetarians have the same potential as anyone else.
