This senior citizen couple I know gets $500 per person & food stamps they don't need. This is not their pension or retirement money because they never worked before. They're immigrated here & became citizens about 10 years. Then they started receiving money from the gov.t and I believe it is a need base social security aid.

The problem is they most likely lied on their application because the house they live in, the food they eat, and the clothes they wear are provided by their children. They lied and said they're not receiving any assitant from their children.

Now they use the money for spurges buying gold watches, diamond bracelets, necklaces, designer shoes, purse, and going expensive international vacations almost every year spending thousands of dollars. This makes feel really bad because I know other senior citizens who truly aren't receiving assistants and are starving on 2 small meals a day and barely has money to for new clothes.

Can I & Should I report them? And if so How can I? Is there a number or hotline I can call?

  1. You don't know anything about their situation or how they recieve their money (unless you are illegally looking through their mail).  Leave these people alone and deal with your own life.  What is the real reason you are upset with these people????

  2. I doubt that you know what you think you know, but if have proof of what you claim, contact the SSA Office of the Inspector General:

    Internet: Fraud Reporting Form

U.S. Mail:  Social Security Fraud Hotline

    P.O. Box 17768

    Baltimore, Maryland 21235

    FAX: 410-597-0118

    Telephone: 1-800-269-0271 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time

TTY: 1-866-501-2101 for the deaf or hard of hearing.

  3. You don't even know what their situation is; you're just jealous. Why not devote some time to some spelling and grammar lessons instead?
