Should I POP a Blister??

Question

OK so i had this wart frozen off and I got a huge blister (the doc told me i would)... should I pop it??

I heard you shouldn't pop blisters, but i think the doc said it was ok?? I can't remember (I was in WAY too much pain to concentrate!)

How long will it hurt for!?
