Should I Play The Trumpet?

I have been playing the alto sax for two years. I want to switch to trumpet, Should I??

nah. i tried trumpet when i had been playing alto sax for about 3 years. didn't work out.

yes all instruments are awsome I love music

trumpet might be easier to play b/c of less keys but any transition from one instrument to the next isn't going to be easy. i would rent a trumpet before you buy one. just to see if you like it.

Yes.

Learn to play as many instruments as you can.

The transition from Sax to Trumpet will be a good experience, as you will need to develop an embouchere, and your signature key will be Bb instead of Eb like your Alto Sax.

You could switch to trumpet, but it is very different. The position of your mouth will change and your embouchure will be very different.

But there is no harm in a change!
