Should I Risk It????

I live an hour away from my job and have to drive back and forth. It is snowing out and the road reports say it is slippery and will contiue to snow. Also says the winds are supposed to blow from 15 to 30 miles an hour. also the visibility is less than half a mile. should i risk trying to make it to work? i live 45 minutes away plus have to drive throught the hills to get there. I think I shouldn't risk getting stuck in the middle of nowhere. What do you suggest? also says it is foggy/misty whatever that means.

  1. If i was you i would call in sick to work and if it happens the next day say your sick still and if it calms down go to work.I wouldn't risk my life for work.

  2. I'd say it depends on how good your vehicle is in snow, and how much traffic you encounter.

  3. One of the risks of living that far away from work...

I would call and see if my boss and his boss made it in..

If they did.. they will expect you to be there too...

It's March, you should be good at this by now.....

  4. Call out of work today and don't take any chances.

  5. IF YOU WERE TO GET INTO AN ACCIDENT AND WRECK THE CAR OR INJURE YOUSELF HOW MANY DAYS WILL YOU MISS THEN?

I'M A MANAGER AND NEVER MISS WORK. I ALSO LIVE 45 MINUTES AWAY. I JUST GIVE MYSELF PLENTY OF TIME TO GET THERE.

WHILE I GREATLY APPRIECATE THOSE THAT MAKE IT IN ON THESE DAYS, I UNDERSTAND THOSE THAT DON'T AS LONG AS THEY ARE THERE AND ON TIME THE REST OF THE TIME.

    GOOD LUCK AND BE SAFE!

  6. I would call work and not chance it, life is too short and your employer will understand....

  7. its your call our weather forecasters are wrong more than right. look out your window are others on the road. you will be ok if your going to live in snow country you need to know how to drive in it.
