Question:

Should I TRUST the Ebay if I buy an item there?

I hesitate to order something because my friend told me that some of the Ebay members (sellers) are hackers especially if you use your own credit card inorder to buy something that you didn't really buy. I don't like to be one of the victim just because I buy that item from Ebay.

Thanks anyway for reading my question.

  1. NO NO NO! Do not buy off eBay. Its full of scammers and cheats. eBid offers much more protection, check out my blog www.ebidnow.blog.com for more information!

  2. You can trust eBay

    Thanks

  3. use ''pay pal'' to buy stuff on ebay that way u kno your not giving the (sellers) your credit card number.

  4. I have never had problems and I've always use pay-pal. A lot of users accept money orders, just look at their payment options.

  5. When I was starting out on Ebay I found this site helpful.  http://ebayingtoearnmoney.blogspot.com/

  6. If you buy an item from an ebay seller and use your credit card through paypal  to pay for the item then you are not giving your credit card information to the seller - just to paypal.

Your chances of getting ripped off - the seller not sending you the item are the same on e-bay as they are anywhere else - but if you use your credit card then you have more protection as you can use the ebay and paypal system to get your money back.

  7. I wouldn't worry about Ebay being hackers. They typically look out for your best interests.

Last November I bought Redskins vs Cowboys tickets on eBay. A couple of days went buy and eBay notified me that it was a fraudulent seller and they refunded my money in full.

Just thought I would share my story with ya.
