  1. Um... Ronnie Brown is coming off ACL surgery and it takes 2 years to completely heel and be at a 100%. So the question is 80% or so of Ronnie Brown or all of Edgerrin James.

That's why it's not a good idea to get guys off of ACL surgery. Ronnie Brown and Duece McAllister will not be on any of my teams this year...

  2. I have arguments for both.

Edge is good. He's declining but good, he plays on a better team, and he has little to no competition for his job. His QB is better also.

Ronnie Brown has competition. BIG competition in Ricky Williams, a stud before his huge suspension. That will lose him carries at the very least, if not remove him from the starting job. He's coming off injury, and his team blows. However, he's spectacular when healthy, and new additions to the O-line may help him out enough to put up numbers.

I think its a good trade, since Brown has better potential for success, and his bust potential is about equal to Edge.

  3. I would wait till... I don't know they play a preseason game, they get into training camp or maybe even get through mini camps, before asking questions like this. Ronnie Brown is coming off  injury and Edge is getting old. They both play for some what bad teams, but you know what you get from both. Edge is mediocre and Brown can be spectacular if healthy. If you think Brown is 100 percent I would defiantly do it. I believe he is so yes do it.

  4. this is toatlly up to you here's why you can go ethier way:

R.Brown is coming off a major knee injury, which is never good for RB's(or any athlete for that matter), and he's bound to share time.

Edge should be breaking down any second now, he's taken a lot of hits over his career, and being in his 30's means the end is near.

I'd keep Edge because he has two stud WR that will take tons of pressure off of him while R.Brown has no one helping him in MIA.

  5. Brown is going to have competition from Ricky Williams for the starting position. If he keeps the starting position, he will at least split carries with Williams.

That, combined with his knee injury from last year is why the other guy wants to trade him to you.

Look at what you would be giving up.

James doesn't get a lot of TDs, only 7 last year, but he is a true starter and will get the 25 to 30 carries a game. He also rushed for 1,200 + yards last season.

Keep James, let the other guy worry about the RB situation in Miami.

  6. No. James is washed up. Brown will have a good year.
