Should I accept $1000 scholarship?

i recieved a $1000 scholarship from my school, however I was planning to change my major from elementary ed. (a requirement for the scholarship) to secondary ed. However, I would feel guilty accepting the scholarship and worry that they might take it away from me if i indeed change my major, since it clearly states that if I accept, I must continue to meet all requirements. What should I do: keep my major the way it is, wait a semester and then change it, not accept the scholarship or accept it, change my major (since its what I really wanna do) and hope that they dont realize.
