A baseball card collector offered me $150 for my most rare cards. I know it's probably not a good deal. Can you tell me how much I should try an bargain him for.

in mint condition i have: entire 1985 red sox, a pedro martinez with piece of game jersey authentic, walter johnson, mike sweeney with piece of his jersey authentic

then for rare condition I have, a mickey mantle, and a mickey mantle with a piece of his jersey, a carl Yastrzecki with a piece of his bat authentic, rod carew, mer ott, 3 wade Boggs, and a Ted williams

  1. No you should get more then $150

  2. Buy a baseball beckett "price guide", see how much they are all worth, then decide whether or not it's worth the money hes giving you.

  3. all of those cards for $150? Thats a scam. You need to find a professional or do some research online. That guy is a dirt bag trying to scam an unknowing person.

  4. It doesn't sound like very much for what you may have.  The cards' value varies with the edition as well as the condition, but if I were you I would invest in a neutral evaluation process.  An up to date price guide or an independent service or something like that.  When you get the values, you can take a little less from the dealer, he has to make a profit on the transaction.  Plus it's the convenience of getting it done all at one time.

  5. Buy a Beckett and look up the prices, that is the only way to tell how much they are really worth. Unless you to go a card shop and ask, but they aren't accurate a lot of times because they want to rip you off if you have good stuff. Look them up and then give him a fair price :)
