Should I accept this offer in baseball: Volquez/Cabrera for Pettite/Rollins?

Was just offered Edinson Volquez and Orlando Cabrera for Andy Pettite and Jimmy Rollins.

Here is my current roster:

  1. Volquez is definitely the stronger pitcher. Lowest ERA in the NL (2nd in the MLB). Plenty of innings. (110.2) A lot of quality starts (11 wins and 3 losses). Pettite has 10 wins and 6 losses, a 3.93 ERA (almost 4), and 119 innings (just 9 more than Volquez).

    I think Cabrera is better, too . Tied with Rollins at 6 homers. Cabrera has a .267 average compared to Rollins .268. Cabrera 36 RBI, Rollins 29. Cabrera 52 runs, Rollins 38. Cabrera 12 stolen bases, Rollins 22.

    So unless you need more steals I would ACCEPT the trade.


  2. yes because that would really help your starting pitching and J-Rol is in a slump anyway. Do it!
