Should I accept this trade? (Fantasy football)?

Question

Ok, a guy has offered me a trade. I have jake Delhome as my starting QB and im not happy about it. I also have Jon Kitna, so any way heres the offer.

He offered:

Vince Young, QB

Alge Crumpler, TE

For My:

Thomas Jones, HB

Jon Kitna, QB

I don't know, I'm kind of desperate for a good QB right now and VY's passing stats are weak.

I wouldnt do it because Kitnas surrounded by better WRs and i think jones could be a sleeper this year

Why would you do this?  Alge Crumpler had a bad season, and his production went down with Young as his QB.  Unless you think that Young will have a breakout season, do not do this trade.  Kitna had a very good year, and delhomme is always a solid candidate for a decent year.  and Thomas Jones just got a new O-Line to help him run.

No.  I believe T. Jones is going to have a rebound year.  He only scored 2 TDs last year.  The Jets are going to be better this year and that total is going to go up a lot.  Young is a sub-par QB.  I want no part of him.  Crumpler and Kitna are about equal in value but you can do much better at TE.

it depends on your second string HB.if he is weak then know.

i would start kitna over delhomme anyday but check out this article before you acept that trade...it will put things into perspective for you

Based on the info you provided I wouldn't touch that trade. Kitna has better weapons at his disposal than Young does. Young will struggle again this season, and I expect that Kitna will have better #'s.

Also I would start Dellhomme over Kitna. Jake and Smith together can set the league on fire.

Don't be surprised if Young puts up better numbers this year than Kitna - he is on the downward spiral.  I think Young is the better backup.  So then you have to decide between Jones and Crumpler, and Jones is clearly the better choice.  Stick with what you have.
