Should I add this player?

Question

Ok, I have Vince Young, Donovan McNabb and Jake Delhomme as my QB's. I want to drop Delhomme because I don't think I will find him as any use. And I need a decent back up WR, so Should I drop Delhomme and pick up Amani Toomer?

If i where you i wouldn't drop Delhomme but i would drop Young for a WR, but not Toomer he didn't do to much last year, if 3 TD's and 760 yards is what your looking for then pick him up but i think you might be able to find some one better in your free agency.

I would rather have an extra QB than WR.  McNabb has been injury prone and Young is still questionable.  Delhomme could surprise you if SSmith returns to form.

Before you drop Delhomme, dangle him out as trade bait. You may be able to pick up someone better than Toomer. Scan your league and see if there are teams that are weak in the QB position. Then present a reasonable trade.

(Honestly, in my opinion, Fantasy Football Leagues are won and lost at the RB position. It's good to have a 3rd option as WR because of the "bye" week but you can never have too many RB's.)

Hold Delhomme for 2 weeks... watch his performace, i think he will be better then average, then compare him to Young and then offer the worst of the two is a trade for a better WR.

I would definitely say to hold on to Delhomme for a period of time - work the trade market before you attempt to work the waiver wire.  Last  year before Delhomme got injured he was very, very productive.  Admittedly, he's coming back from Tommy John surgery but see how he pans out.  My guess is Amani Toomer will still be available.  Also, see if you could find someone besides Toomer - the only viable fantasy receiver the Giants offer is Burress - wait to see if an emerging number 2 comes out (maybe someone like Jacoby Jones in Houston, etc.) in the first two weeks before you reach for a wide receiver whose best days are behind him.  Good luck!

I think Delhomme has a better chance of being picked up than Amani Toomer. Delhomme is underrated, because of last year only playing 3 games even though he had 624 yds with 8 touchdowns and only 1 interception. Then he was a bust in 2006 with 17 touchdowns and 11 interceptions seems like it happens every year with the Super-Bowl runner-up.

Delhomme has better chance of being better than Vince Young in my opinion. Vince Young hasn't done anything yet. I would just wait or try to drop somebody else beside QB.

I would recommend holding on to delhomme and wait until after the first couple weeks and try to trade him. He typically starts really strong and then either gets injured or stops playing well.
