Should I always carry cigars with me?

I often get asked for a cigarette, maybe more as a compliment.

I do not smoke and I think it would be rude just to grumble 'I dont smoke' or 'I dont have any'.

whats wrong with standing with the truth and not smoking? just say" sorry I don't smoke " and leave it at that.

It's not rude to say you don't smoke. Your just being honest. If you are mean about it and say things like, "I am not THAT stupid to put those things into my body and waste my money on cigs" Then yes THAT is rude.

But, just simply saying you don't have a cigarette? Not rude at all.
