Should I attend the University Of Hawaii Manoa?

I'm just getting ready to be a Junior in High School from Fernley, Nevada and I would really love to go to UH. I'm working on getting a baseball scholarship, but if that doesn't work out I'd still like to go there for the experience. Is it worth it? Should I do it?

Knowing Fernley as I do, I would say that you would LOVE the University of Hawaii at Manoa.  I spent 10 years in Nevada and moved to Hawaii after HS graduation.  Baseball is VERY competitive here, but the out of state tuition is still less than anywhere else.  It's a great school (I went to both a community college and then UH Manoa for my BA and MA).  Very different than Nevada!

You can probably get financial aid, but your parents may have to still pay some toward your living expenses.  You don't qualify for scholarships from UH as you would be out of state.
