Heres the deal- I like acting, I was in a school play and have taken some acting classes in school in the past, I also took an acting/modeling class at a place and got my head shots taken there, I don't have an agent or anything and no real experience..but I just want to try and see if I can make it because I have always dreamt of acting and living a famous life haha but what are my chances of making it anyways? I am 17 and am going to be a senior in high school and my parents are obsessed with me excelling in school bc I have a 4.1 gpa and take honors classes and all that stuff. So im afraid if I ask my parents they'll look at me like I am out of my mind! What would you do if you were me? Should I even waste my time trying?

  1. Im sure your parents will support you in something that will make you happy.  If you know of the audition and when and where, go for it. What can you lose ? It's an experience you will remember if you land the part or not ! Good Luck !

  2. go for it

    it wont hurt to try

  3. You will need the help of your parents if you go audition. Since you are a minor a parent will have to be with you at all times.

  4. go for it !

  5. go for it your parents wold probably be so proud of you either way

  6. You should go for it! I wanna audition for her too, but my mama wants me to focus on school first. -.- Well, I think since you're so smart, you should be able to keep up with school AND auditions, and still keep your GPA. It'll be hard, but go for it. Make sure to have your parents' support and tell them you'll try to keep up! Good luck!

  7. I think you should go for you .....you wont waste your time trying you might make it so go for it
