Well, if there is an attraction still I would say yes because that could lead to other things which is not good for anyone. If that person is around all the time, talk with your partner and see how he/she feels about the situation. Communication is important and you definitely do not want to give the wrong impression or assume something that you shouldn't so talk with he/she and figure out where to go from there. Good luck!

How do you think you'll be able to avoid your b/f best friend? If you and your ex are through and you have both moved on emotionally why do you need to avoid him?

drama drama drama... If you think you can't be platonic then avoid him but if you think the two of you can really be friends then let go of the past and move on. If you can't this relationship will probably fail too.

I would only be around him if you're with your partner as well. Then you should be safe.

I would say yes because you can't be friends with her in the same way you could with someone else. It could eventually cause problems with your partner if you talk or hang out sometimes. The best thing is to avoid trouble at all cost.

Is your partner hotter than you ex? How does your partner fell about it? How long ago was the relationship? If it was a long time ago and there is no chance of being attracted to them again then fine, but it is not worth the risk of hurting your partner just to be around your ex.

Well only if you feel that being around your ex is going to cause problems should you avoid him/her. Talk to your partner if you are having any doubts about being around your ex or if you feel very uncomfortable. If you don't feel uncomfortable and you can just honestly treat your ex like a friend (no feelings attatched) then its okay to hang around your ex. People do it all the time.

Depends on the situation and how mature everyone is and how bad the relationship with your ex was.. I am dating my ex husband's old best friend. At worst, some things are awkward, but their friendship is between them, not me.
