Ok i had an eptopic in my right tube (tube and baby) was removed in May 2008. Just got a positive pregnancy test my last period was June 25 So that would place me about 9-10wks. I'm so scared to find out if its another tubal or not, im not having pain like i did with the last one and my baby bump is dead center no small lump on the left side, with my eptopic i had a small bump on the right side when i layed down but i didnt know it was an eptopic until the ultrasound was done at 8wks i started spotting thats how they figured it out. I really dont think it is an eptopic but im still scared, any advise to help ease my fears?

  1. Just relax, you would have pain if it was ectopic.  Congrats!  You should schedule your ultrasound ASAP for peace of mind, though!

  2. Schedule the ultrasound asap to give you some peace of mind. It doesnt sound like it, but Im sure you are worried as I would be. A really good friend of mine went through that and decided to never try again cause she was so worried (they ended up adopting). Good luck but by the sound of it everything sounds fine!!

  3. Try not to stress out about it. You should call your doc, and they might want to do a scan to make sure its not etopic again. Good luck to you!!

  4. If you are that far along and not having pain, a good chance is that the pregnancy is not ectopic as pain is one of the major signs for an ectopic pregnancy. Crampiness is normal during pregnancy, especially during implantation. If you did have an ecptopic pregnancy, you would feel sharp pain, with or without bleeding, and usually shoulder pain. I wouldn't worry if you have no symptoms, but schedule an appointment to ease your mind.
