Question:

Should I be a Dentist or RN?

I'm in my second year of community college, and trying to decide what I want to be/major in. I definitely want to end up with a stable, good-paying job. So...dentists eventually get paid well (I think) but it's probably more of a high-stress job than nursing. Anybody been in this situation before?

  1. I am a pre-dental.  Go to www.studentdoctor.net

click on Communities, click on Dentistry.  You're welcome.

  2. Going for dentistry will take you eight full years of college, an RN will take four years at the most.  Nurses are in very high demand, and it's a good job with long-term employment stability.  You would need to borrow a lot of money to be a dentist, so you shouldn't consider just the salary potential.
