Should I be a suck up to teachers for the rest of my highschool school years?

Im going into Junior year, and I've got possibly some honors class, and hoping to do well, and Im the type of person that when In the mood or zone, I can get things by just paying attention once or twice. But normally I would need to be taught the material 5-7 times to get it into my head.

So should I suck up to teachers, even though it goes against who I am? Would this help me get a better job after highschool/college?

Most likely it won't and you might be picked on by other kids. But it's your decision. You can always just talk to your teacher after school or during study hall and have then teach it to you about 5-7 times. : ) You have to get in the habit of learning the material as best as you possibly can for college. Or you could always find a tutor. Hopefully this helped..good luck!

We use to tease my daughter shes the biggest suck up there is but i will say it does help so i say go for it.

Do what you have to do to survive for colleges etc you need good recommendations ..

The more you suck up, the more people remember you, the more people remember you the better you can network.  The better networking you can achieve, the better job you can acquire.

The same applies to when you have gotten out of school/college/grad school.  The more you suck up to the boss, the less work you can get away with doing along with better pay.

be who you are bro BUT  to be honest i do "make nice"- suck up is such a strong word- with teachers so that  they wont give me a hard time in class.

this is good cuz i do all my homework- A work- in one trimester and then on the second i give them B work BUT because  the teacher likes me she/he lets it slide and gives me an A-. sometimes she/he doesn't even care that i don't have my homework, while the student that they don't like and didn't do the work gets penalized.

YOU ALSO NEED TO STUDY bro. 5-7 times is a lot-no offense

yes. kissing a little butt will get you far. it really will. ask questions, pay attention, be attentive. all of this will get you through your years of schooling.
