  1. Not at all... we can't help what happens to us

    cheer up

    :)

  2. You shouldn't blame your self, its not like you purposley do this.

  3. People are ashamed of having a mental illness because society has place a stigma on it.

The brain is an organ, the same as your heart, your kidneys, your gallbladder, your eyes, etc. When disease happens to your other organs you don't feel shame. Have you ever heard someone who is ashamed of their sinus problem???

A brain disorder like depression, schizophrenia or bipolar is not a cause for shame. A tumor is also a disorder of the brain, no one shames a person with a brain tumor.

Why do we continue to use put down words or phrases for mental illness, nuts, crazy, whacked, loony, and on and on. We have no put down words  for cancer, diabetes or heart disease, why? Because we would not stand for it.

Fight the stigma, end shame, it's that simple.

  4. no you shouldn't be ashamed of it. :)

    everybody is different.

    be happy with yourself!

    (:

  6. No, it's not your fault. Things like this just happen.

  7. no you shouldn't be ashamed.

  8. No,not at all.Better go for proper medication / treatment to solve the

    problem.

  9. No, you shouldn't be ashamed. It's not like a character flaw. You can't help it.

  10. There is no reason at all to be ashamed. It is a good sign to become mentally mature. Analyze your actions and see whether your actions are comparable to that of a learned and great personality. If your actions are comparable to that of a weak and narrow minded person, try to change your style of living and functioning. Be good and do good.

  11. not at all, it is real. it is like anything else, diabetes  ect... you need to make sure you are seeing a dr and doing what you need to do, just like you would take care of any other illness. i think a lot of people who dont understand think its something you can snap out of. and the reality is it is very common and growing in this world.
