Question:

Should I be concerned about being pg or is it, once again, just my period being cruel?

My husband and I just started back ttc after our miscarriage in Septembet '07. My periods are every 30 to 32 days. They are typically normal in flow and I usually have fairly bad cramps. Last month I only had extremely light bleefing for 3 days, not even really enough to wear a pad, just a pantyliner. I didn't think to much about it at the time. Now it's past due time for my period, but no period yet. My last period was July 20th. I don't really have any symptoms other than my breast are fairly tender to touch. Should I be concerned? I see a fertility specialist, but I'm not scheduled to go back until October. I was hoping to get a few people's opinion before calling to go back in and see him once again for something that might be nothing. Any advice would be so helpful! Thanks! :)

  1. it sounds like you could be!! wait another week or so and retest. hope the best!

  2. WELL THE BEST THING TO DO IS WAIT AND SEE IF YOUR PERIOD COULD JUST BE LATE, MAYBE BECAUSE OF STRESS AND THEN TEST IF IT DOESNT COME.

  3. Personally I would advise you to invest the 10 bucks in a pregnancy test. You are showing some textbook signs, and early and consistant prenatal care is important. But it would sem as if you are not imagining things and very well might be preggers. I hope it turns out as you are hoping for. Blessings.

  4. have you taking a test.

  5. I had a miscarriage in Dec 06. My periods have been extremely light, usually lasting 3 days since then.. before that I was a heavy flow with HELLACIOUS cramps to boot.. I have heard from different people that after you get pregnant the first time your periods change..

I've skipped periods since then, but haven't gotten pregnant. If your test is negative give it another week or so and take another.. if it's still negative, it's just your body playing tricks on you.

If you are still concerned after a negative test, make a quick visit to your doctor. What could it hurt?
