Should I be embarrassed about what I did?

It's been very hard for me to open up to other people. I haven't had much luck making a lot of friends. At work there are a few girls who try to get me out of my shell and they really listen to me and hear me even tho I talk quietly. I wrote them a thank you note for really being there for me and I complimented a few aspects of their personality that I value. But now I'm nervous and worried that they'll think I'm weird or will make fun of me for what I wrote. When I do stuff like that I guess I really just put my heart into it so now I'm really unsure if I did the right thing. They seem like really caring people who wear their hearts on their sleeve, but I still worry.

Should I be embarrassed about what I did?

They'll think you're a bit weird, but they'll like you all the more for it.

Weirdness is not always a negative.

Not at all.  It is the people who hide there feelings who are sorry in the end.  Continue to be yourself.  Open up when possible.  People gravitate toward nice people.

If they are as caring as you say, no need to worry it was a very nice gesture.

Honestly though, I would be very embarassed, I think this is a little strange and weird.

try not to write letters anymore   just tell them whats on your mind and its over after that then you will get an instant response verbaly as well as phicicaly via facial expressions  try to read people by facial expressions and body movement

No you shouldnt be embarrassed, that was a really sweet thing to do! If they were at all bitchy I would be worried that they would think you were weird, but obviously they are caring poeple and would just think it so nice that they will want to hang out with you more!

I know if anyone sent me a note like that I would just think they are so nice, and it would make me feel better about myself too. SO it was definatley a good thing to do, particularly if you wanna become better friends with them.

iI THINK IT WAS SWEET NOT WEIRD . I WAS QUIET AND SHY AT ONE TIME TOO. YOU MAY NOT ALWAYS BE SO TIMID BUT IF SO THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH IT.
