Should I be in more pain than yesterday? (Wisdom Teeth Extraction)?

Question

Hello, I got my wisdom teeth (all four) extracted three days ago.. Day 1, the pain was fine, nothing too bad or sore.. Day Two I felt better and the pain was getting better.. And now day three, the pain is worse than day one and day two! Is this normal?

Also at the extraction site, I see blackness, instead of gums, is this also normal?

hi the blackness is the open socket.

If the pain is getting worse, the chances are you've dislodged the bloodclot. the condition is called 'dry socket' and has a throbbing ache.

if you back to dentists they will probably give you some antib iotics and maybe put a disinfecting pack into the socket which helps with the pain
