So I just tried a half twist today and am wondering if it should be rotated with somewhat bent legs? I think that its pretty good that I got it on my first day learning it so I guess I can still fix the bent knees if thats unacceptable. Any tips for full or half twists are also welcome:)

  1. I think most people would perfer you having your legs straight because your only doing a half and there really isn't a twist it's just a lil turn. But if it was a full then it would be a lil different. I don't think most people would care if your legs were bent

Oh and you might want to check your take off because if you have an arch in your back thats WRONG!!!! and thats probably why your bending your knees. I had a HUGE!!!!!!! problem learning my full with an arch in my back and arch I was eventually able to do it with an arch in my back but only a full........ thats it........ so if you ever want to learn a double after you learn your full. Get rid of the arch!!!!!!!!!!

Your body is suppose to be in a hollow. This position allows people to learn a full much easier (ME) lol

Here a link to learn it how to Hollow Out!

This will set you up perfectly for a full
