My brother, Josh died last year at the age of 12 because of Cystic Fibrosis.

I was a HUGE pothead before he died, and I couldn't smoke in the house because if he inhaled it, he would die instantly, says the doctors.

My buddy Shane has a Cannabis book, for growers

and It says that People with Cystic Fibrosis smoke weed to help treat it [it said stuff weed treats] and I was so phucking pissed when i read it last night.

My brother could have smoked, and still been alive today >:[

  1. I'm going to say its VERY unlikely smoking weed would have made your brother live longer. By "treat it" the author of the book was most like referring to relieveing pain, not magically making the condition disappear.

I'm also fairly certain your brother's doctor(s) know more about his condition and what would have been good for him than you or an author of a Canabis book.

It's understandable that you wish your brother was still alive, but this is not the way to show your grief.

  2. Sorry to hear that about your bro.

Anyone, please help answer my problem. It's something wierd with my ears.

  3. The Bible says don't think about the past think about the now.

It makes perfect sense don't hide it embrace the fact that thats over.

Yes its sad to me. Say your prayers. TRUST ME PLEASE!!! Oh yeah I would make sure that your stament is true. Please feel better. Were only human. Thats the way my God ( hopefully we have the same God ) made it. And God is perfect. True Stament. Ohh yeah don't be a pot head cmon.

  4. Don't be angry, what u have is called "survivers guilt", you prob. asked yourself, "why did he have to die,and it's my fault?"

It could have helped maybe prolong his life..but no one knows for how long.. , then on the other hand, if he smoked it, his life might have been over sooner. You just never know.. What you have to do is just say to yourself that it was just meant to be that way~ you couldn't have guaranteed his life to continue today just because he might have smoked pot.

Maybe talking to a counselor or doctor might help you move on...

Don't be mad, Josh's time of passing is NOT your fault.  People pass on when they are meant to and nothing you do or don't do will change that.  It could take years and years before you accept it.  Be patient with yourself, Good Luck!
