Question:

Should I be wary of paid surveys and similar opportunities?

I'm thinking about trying some paid surveys online. Is this safe? What should I look for in a paid survey company? What could I expect when I sign up? What are some signs of a scam?

And is it really worth the time invested? I'm a little scared about trying it. What if I sign up and don't want to continue?

Thanks for your input.

  1. They are scams that require you to sign up for something before you might get anything.

  2. Yes, of course you should be wary, but there are some that are actually true to their word... It took me a while before I found 1 survey site that I feel ok with using.

The website I use is pretty legit. You don't have to compromise your identity or try anything. You just have to do as it says.

If it says "participate in a survey", you just have to participate in the survey. Once the survey is done, you can quit the website, even if the website asks you to give some of your personal info. You don't have to fill out that part to receive money. That's why I like it.

Here's the link... copy and paste it onto your URL browser...

    www.cash crate.com/677352

*put in the URL without the space between cash and crate*

You just have to be 13 or older!! And it’s nice since it pays you by check not by paypal/gift card/credit card like other online survey website, unless you want it to.

I've already made $15 just this week and have another $55 pending. They pay out every month after you reach the minimum payout of $10

But you get to set the minimum payout. I chose $15 and they just sent me a check yesterday for $15.44. I didn't think it would work but when that check came in the mail, I started to believe it!! :)))

  3. You dont need to be scared, now weary yes. Signs of a scam. If your asked for your bank acount details and credit card details. If you are asked for passwords etc. You dont need to pay to do paid surveys, there are plenty of free ones out there that you can do. Worth it or not depends on how much you want the money, if your looking for easy work than whats better than sitting at home on your pc answering questions and getting paid? Here are some paid surveys you can try. Some have paypal and some have plain old money. http://www.techagesite.com/Surveys%20pag... you can stop at any time doing paid surveys.

  4. Paid survey is not scam. The problem is just your profile must match with what the company need, and then the big company will send you paid survey invitation. Paid survey will make you some money but definitely it won't make you rich. For more info maybe you can go to

    http://kuso.cc/cashern

This is paid survey membership website. But if you sign up for free you will get 10 list of paid surveys that really pays you. Remember one thing, paid surveys is very targeted, so if your profile don't match with what the company need, just move on and try another company.

    this is a good one

    first survey=$6

    subsequent=$1-25

    enjoy! =)

  6. They are all scams from what I've been told.

  7. When you consider taking a job with any company you should do a credit check on them, and it would not hurt to Google the name to get other opinions as your first step.

You might check with better business bureau.

Is the company registered on any stock exchange? Good companies may not be there, and bad companies may be there. so this is not a strong indicator.

Scams often want to have you provide a credit card number,

  8. A lot of them are in fact scams. I've tested pretty much all the paid survey sites out and have found these two sites to be the most helpful when selecting a new paid survey company.

  9. register where its free. don't get scammed.

  10. I have done this and I know from experience that it could go both ways. First of all, I f they are asking for your money first for you to then make money, It is a scam for sure. The only surveys that are worth trying are the ones that you have nothing to loose but time. Never pay to any survey company period. I have gotten payouts from certian companies so it does work. Just be sure to have an email account only for junk mail cause you will get thousands of emails that are junk cause most of the online survey companies give out your email to other companies. GOOD LUCK!!

  11. Firs of all I want to say - Don't believe that SurveySavvy is a scam! They really pay you money. U just need to complete your profiles in order to get surveys. The surveys incentive usually varies from 5 to 15 dollars, and they pay by check. They also have great customer support. When I had a problem I recieved a fast and valuable answer from the support. I would rate surveysavvy with a straight A. And remember: to get more surveys - complete your profiles, it can be a little too long but you will get more surveys and more money. All countries are supported. To register with SurveySavvy just click on this link

    https://www.surveysavvy.com?id=3075105&a...

Another good survey site is opinionoutpost. They can send you up to 40 paid surveys each month! But also you need to qualify to get the incentive. Usually survey incentives vary from 40 to 200 points ( 10 points is equal to 1 american dollar). Surveys are fun to complete and are not repetative. They have bonus too: if you do not qualify sometimes you can get some points just for the appreciation. To register click on the link below

If you want more, I can name the third good company. It is American Consumer Opinion. I think this company is unique. They send survey not very often but the incentive can easilly reach 25 dollars and more. Their surveys are ALWAYS fun and easy to complete. Want to check? Just click on the link below to register

  12. No they are not all scams, a lot of them are though. Believe it or not, there are companies that will pay for your opinion. It is worth the time if you go about it the right way. Most people get too excited start filling out a thousand surveys and end up getting frustrated bc they don't get paid.

If a site asks you to pay to sign up its a scam. Sites that are legit will not make you a lot of money at a time, to be successful with a survey, you should stick to it.

One legimate survey that I personally suggest is cashcrate. If you google it, you will find that cash crate is not a scam.
