  1. Yes. You will get rot, bugs, and mold.

You should attach a plastic tube to the air conditioner drain and run the tubing so the water goes into a flower bed or otherwise away from the house. If there is no place to attach a tube, put a funnel under where the ac is dripping and attach the tube to that. Old garden hose will work, or you can get clear plastic tubing from the hardware store. Look for something that has an interior diameter of 1/4 to 1/2 inch. Remember that the tube must slope downhill to let gravity drain it, otherwise you will need a small pump as well.

  2. Absolutely-Mold and mildew will start if not corrected. Insulate the pipes.

  3. YES!!!

As already mentioned, mold & mildew.  And ROT.  Lots of rot, silently, slowly destroying your pocketbook.

    FIX THAT PROBLEM SOON!

  4. There should of been a drain pipe / connection hooked up when it was installed. Is it on the ground or the roof? Anyway yes there is a problem. you wil get rot and it will start leaking into the sheetrock. Get it fixed as soon as possible. Just find the drain and run a hose out to where you want it. If it is in the attic you might want to put a drain pan under it for more security. Good luck
