Question:

Should I be worried about my 13 yr old moving to the UK as the education systems are so different?

My child is not a star student but in Canada we attend till 18-19 for completion of secondary, here in the UK it is 16! I am worried he will be behind and not able to cope with the level of expectation. Should I be worried?!?! Where can I find out information

  1. No are education is very good indeed.    You stay on at school untill your 18.  Is your child going on their own


  2. No. Our education is good. You can stay on at school after 16 for sixth form (16-18) if you get the right grades in A Levels and GCSEs

  3. I am not sure, but in Australia, it wouln't be a problem.
