My pupils won't un-dialate?

I went to the optometrist yesterday for a checkup, and he dialated my pupils to look at my eyes with some eye drops. He said that it would go away in a few hours, but I woke up this morning and they were still dialated! It has now been approximately 24 hours since my appointment and my pupils are still dialated, I also used to have these brown rings around my pupils and they aren't there any more! Will they come back? Help? Advice?

NOTE: I've never had my pupils dialated and let me tell you it is quite painful.

  1. You need to call the doctor and see what course of action they would have you take. They do run into this ever so often and it is fixable.
