  1. Thank you for thinking about the animals!

    Yes, why not?

Eggs are loaded with cholesterol and it's easy to replace them in any thing. The only food you might miss is fried eggs, but that's not much of a difference really, is it?

I've been to an 'organic' egg farm to rescue hens recently, it was not pretty. If you're having second thoughts, just read this article I wrote about it that shows how all animals suffer, no matter what 'humane' system they're exploited in.

After I had stopped eating eggs, I quit the dairy as well, that wasn't very hard either, especially after learning about how the cows are treated even in 'organic' systems. It's not too hard to cut little things out and it has a huge benefit for the poor animals, so I'm really glad you're thinking about this.

    Hope this helps!

  2. Sure , why not ? Please cut out eggs . By having milk , you wouldn't be killing any one for food ...

  3. If that's what you want to do, why not?

I'm lacto-vegetarian, I never cared for eggs very much.

  4. Yeah! That's what I did. I became a lacto-vegetarian after being

lacto-ovo vegetarian for a few months.

  5. If you want to, why not?

Bread, pasta, cereal, rice, beans, peas, lentil, nuts, seeds, fruits and veggies can easily offer everything that you need except B12.

All vegetarians should take a B12 supplement regularly since most people eat meat, dairy AND fortified cereals yet still have a B12 status that is lower than recommended.

It may help you if you see proof that vegetarians have the same potential as anyone else.

If you need meat or dairy during any stage of your life or to live any certain lifestyle, why does the American Dietetic Association say otherwise?

  6. It's your decision what to eat for certain vegetarian. It's okay if you want to cut eggs. No one is forcing you what not to eat especially being a vegetarian. That's all I can say.

  7. Sure, why not!

Although I found it easier to become an Ovo-Vegetarian from a lacto-ovo-vegetarian. You can replace milk with soy milk and once you get used to it, itll be great nd really easy. But you cant really replace eggs with a soy substitute. Its up to you, but I think its more ethical to eat eggs than to drink milk. Eggs arent needed by chicks to survive, but milk IS needed for calfs to be healthy.

Anyway, this was just a suggestion. Im happy to see you want to cut out milk :). Its for the best (I did it too and I feel so much better...mentally and physically)
