Should I become a chef?

I just don't know. I like cooking and using my hands. I've never had a restaurant job before either. I don't know if this is just a hobby or a passion. How do I really know if this is for me? When I think about it, I just can't see myself sitting behind a desk all day. But on the flip side I don't like the fact that I would rarely see my family, and the pay sucks. How do I determine if this is for me or not?

well you should if its what you want to do. Make sure you do what you want & not what some one else wants you to do. If your good at something and have a PASSION for it. Then pursue it.
