  1. lol

  2. You should become a police officer if you meet the minimum requirements, and are a good person that wants to help others. Remember that police officers can't be everywhere all the time, and that most police officers do the best they can to serve and protect. Check out http://www.peaceofficerjobs.com for excellent information about becoming a police officer.

  3. Are you complaining that the police are not numerous enough to be available to see every crime committed?  That would take an officer standing in every household and on every street corner 24/7....something that even the most diehard police supporter would never want!

  4. sure

but u gotta help other people too

  5. I think its easier to dial 911 instead of wasting your time in police academy just bcoz we said so.

  6. You should go on a ride-along. Then you'll understand why they can't be everywhere at the same time.

  7. It really depends on the area you will be policing.  Some areas don't have the budget (sad but true) to hire enough police.  I've lived on Oahu (Hawaii) for a great number of years.  Calling 911 there is a joke.  Lucky if you get an officer in two hours if at all.  The only time they will respond right away is if a weapon is involved.

Texas is another story.  In my community they are there within two minutes within city limits no matter what the call is for.  Not sure about the more rural areas.

Enjoy your donuts!!! You'll be great.

  8. Go for it, Skippy; this will be your chance "be there" when someone calls the police.

  9. Why do you need police so much?  Becoming a police officer doesn't mean that you can go home all the time and tend to your own business.

Being a police officer requires patience and versatility as well as the ability to think on your feet.  You clearly have no idea what it takes to be a cop.

  10. Well, you know what they say.  Don't judge someone until you walk a mile in their shoes.  Maybe it would be an education for you sport.

  11. The police are the good guys. Easy to forget watching all the TV shows and movies, but they are. You want them police? Give them a call. They will be there.

  12. You can make a difference on the job.  Be there!!!
