Hi,
I am 24 years old am a scratch golfer. I enjoy playing golf for my country club, taking part in events, club championships etc. I know I am not good enough to go for the big leagues ie. Europro and European tour, but I am thinking seriously about making a career out of golf by becoming a club pro.
My concerns are, that I really enjoy playing in all the amateur competitions with my club, and I will have to give this up to become a club pro. There doesn't really seem to be any incentive to turn pro, other then to teach enthusiastic golfers, and to work on the course for the rest of my life.
I think I am edging on remaining amateur, but would love someone to come out and give me some reasons to seriously consider going pro.
Thanks for your time reading this,
Nick
