Should I book a flight on southwest (the first leg only right now) since I have the money?

I was planning on using my stimulus check to book a flight for labor day weekend to TN. I found out I won't get the check until mid-June though, but there's a web special and I have enough to book one part of the trip...should I wait until I can afford round trip in two weeks and hope the price doesn't skyrocket or should I just go for it? I was planning to book on southwest by the way...

I always say if you see a good price snag it. the closer you book last minute the more it hurts.  Good luck.
