We booked an all-inclusive trip to Cancun. Do we need to reserve transportation from the airport prior to our trip?

  1. Call the experts that are there in Cancun 1-888-862-3806 They will help you. These guys know their stuff and have the insight. Great prices, great service too.

    Try www.cancuntransportationservices.com

  2. Since it's an all-inclusive trip, the shuttle should be available already. Just call your travel agent to make sure. If it's not, I think you can always get one from the airport. It's just less of a hassle if you book it beforehand. Try socialtravellersite (dot com). you might get tips there. I read about cancun in that site. heard it was great!

  3. USUALLY AIRPORT TRANSFERS ARE INCLUDED WITH THE ALL INCLUSIVE PACKAGES.....DEPENDS ON THE COMPANY YOU BOOKED WITH.  IF IT IS NOT INCLUDED....I RECOMMEND GOING TO WWW.CANCUN.COM AND GETTING IT ARRANGED BEFORE YOU COME.  BEST DAY TRAVEL IS ON THAT WEBSITE UNDER TRANSFERS.  IT IS A RELIABLE COMPANY AND CHEAP.  I HAVE USED THEM  MANY TIMES.

  4. Friend,

It woud be in your best interest to take care of that beforehand. Unfortunately taxis from the airport to the Hotel Zone are closer to 20 and 30 dollars a piece sometimes (a bit higher than another person answered). Most travel companies also offer that service, so it may be part of your travel package. Check with your travel agent or online travel representative.

ADO bus lines also provide bus service to the city of Cancun (the mainland), but if you are staying in the hotel zone this won't do you any good.

Grey Line operates a service in the airport to transfer visitors to their hotels. They have a set-up right in the international arrivals section of the airport, and if you weren't able to take care of it beforehand, they are a safe option. And speaking of safe, anyone offering you free transportation to your hotel or any other too-good-to-be-true  freebies is trying to get you to go see their timeshare property. While there is nothing wrong with that set up for some people, just remember: There is no such thing as a free lunch.

Enjoy yout ime in Cancun...It's been a beautiful Summer

  5. In Mexico, as you can imagine, shuttles do not have the same popularity as they do in the States.

If you purchased your tickets with a travel agent, and they include hotels, sometimes continental breakfast and other things, maybe they can include shuttle to Cancun Airport.

But, if not, it's fine. Mexican taxi cabs are not as expensive as in the States, I don't know Cancun, but in Mexico City, a 30 minute-ride in a normal taxi (they're both taxis in bases and taxis that just go around the street seeking for people to drive, and I'm talking about the second ones) would be about $5 US$. (I guess in touristic places the rates are slightly higher)

So, enjoy your trip and make sure your plan covers your shuttle back to the airport.

    THANKS FOR READING

  6. if your trip does not include airport pick up the least expensive way to go is by bus. On your way out of the terminal look to your right for the ADO bus ticket window nest to the money exchange and take the bus to the terminal in Cancun, from there they have buses that will take the road back up into the hotel zone or  "combies" for the rest of the city. it is fast, safe and inexpensive transportation.
