I'm going to disney in nov and want to book the flight. The person coming doesn't want to right now. I'm really afraid she's going to ditch me anyway since she has only 3 month to pay for her trip and she doesn't have much money and hasn't saved a cent. I wanted to book the flight so that we can arrive early and leave late.We need to book early for that to happen. If i book now she won't be flying out at the same time. What should I do?

  1. you should decide whether or not you would go without that person if they back out.

If you are set on going, with or without the other person, then you should book your ticket as soon as possible in order to get the best price and the best flights.

If you don't want to go without the other person, then you should wait until they are certain and can pay for their flight. Its tough (or impossible) to get a refund for airline tickets so you could be out a bunch of money if you pay for a ticket and decide not to go because the other person backed out.

If you really want to go to Disney (world/land, you didn't specify), try to find some other friends who want to go with you and can acutally book tickets with you. That way, if the other person wants to tag along at the last minute, they can, but your trip isn't spoiled if they can't make it.

  2. There are two possibilities :

    - if you know ahead of time she won't come you may have part of the ticket paid back

    - if she does not have enough money now, she can have a small credit and pay back little by little later.

    ;-)

Actually and personally I would not make plans with someone who is not in a mood of doing things. it will have consequences during all your trip, vibes and expenses.
