  1. Yes, I think you should bring a resume; you may not have any work experience, but if you have been online and are using a resume template you can fill out the other areas of the resume such as education, interests, hobbies, character references, etc.  I also think a prospective employer would be impressed with your efforts - it says a lot about your character and shows that you respect the interview process and want to put your best foot forward.  Go for it and the best of luck - I hope you get the job!

  2. YES.  Bring two clean paper copies and have a disk with the resume file on it just in case.  On your resume, you can put your course work (even if you're only high school) and any volunteer work you've ever done.  Do you know how to use Word and Excel?  Put it on there.  Did you make the honor roll?  That's great for a resume.  Perfect attendance?  Boy scouts?  Treasurer for the badminton club?  All of that is appropriate for an first-time resume.

At your job interview, you will also need the contact information of any previous employers, even if it was only volunteer work, and any references or contacts.  Phone numbers AND addresses.

  3. yes you should.. it should say you don't need experience to work at JC Penny. They will train you.. No worries..

  4. YES!! believe it or not you have experience for JCpenny. You have customer service of one kind or another. Everyone does. In school we were to perform community service. That was customer service as I had to work at snack shops and with day cares. The children were my customers as were the customers who bought food from the snack shop. So you have plenty of skills if you think about it. The smallest details will make up your resume.

  5. I'd bring it just in case... They will understand if your resume isn't too good because you have no past job experience. They evaluate you as a person in an interview.

  6. Yes bring a copy of your resume with you. On it be sure the following:

    objective

    education

    interests

    skills

    cetification/degrees

    work experience/volunteer work.  (if any)

and be sure your name, email and phone number is on your resume.
