I tried buying something online at hollisterco.com and I payed with a working card and gave the correct information, but for some reason it was cancelled. I tired a different card and again my order was cancelled. I emailed them and said that it was not going to charge on the account and that if I felt the cancellation was a mistake ' I should shop again'

So should I order it again? What if it cancels again? What if it charges me twice?? HELP!!!

  1. Orders are cancelled for all sorts of reasons.  What exactly did it say?

Often they cancel it b/c they don't have the item in stock even though the website says they do b/c it hasn't been updated.  Often the cancellation occurs b/c you enter a promo code for a discount and that code wasn't valid.  I've had orders cancelled several times due to that and I felt it wasn't fair that they didn't give me the opportunity to cancel my whole order (after all, the second item was ordered just to get above $50 so that I could use my promo code--now I can't use promo and I'm not getting the item I actually wanted)

It could be a problem with your credit card but if so they would have said that--and since you tried with two different cards, it's more than likely Hollister's problem.

  2. I would say if you don't have the money you don't need it.
