I'm 15 and i'm getting my aunt's 03 Acura Rsx. It doesnt have the bose sound system package but i saw i could buy those speakers online. I am planning on installing atleast 1200 watts rms in subwoofers for the car and i wanted to know if you thought that those bose speakers would go loud enough without blowing out since i'll have the music pretty loud to get the max out of the subs

  1. You can use the pre-existing speakers just have bass blockers installed to bloch bass from the stock speakers. Believe my you will not get much better sound from anything else. Save your monet for school or give it to the poor! God bless you!

  2. welll bose are a good company nothin agaisnt them, but mabey look at componate speaker systems, suck as 4 way speakers that are mabey 1300 watt. i wold suggest JL :) theve done me good!

  3. i would recommend you getting something other than bose.

if you want good sound quality to go with the subwoofers upfront, search around for some "components". these have a much better sound quality than the 3-way speakers and 2-way speakers.

they come with 2 midbass speakers, 2 small cross-overs, and 2 tweeters. one of the best ones ive used are from MB Quart, but as a rule of thumb... to get the most out of door speakers to balance the whole system out, you will need a small amplifier to run them.

if they are too pricey, search around for some other brand but components are much better than the other speakers.
