Should I buy Laptop(Mac Book) that costs around $1480 or an LCD tv...?

If I decide to buy an LCD tv should it be a Sony, LG or Polaroid in terms on quality of the screen, guarantee or vision?

If you want to consider it from an economic standpoint, go for a cheaper tv with good quality and a laptop for slightly more than just buying a $1500 + Macbook alone. I saw a 1080p tv on costco's website for $1000 which is quite a deal! You could easily find a laptop for around $700 that has all you need versus spending way too much on a laptop that has almost exactly the same specifications. Macbooks are cool and all, but why not spend half as much on an equally functioning laptop that has a lot to offer. Try looking at hp laptops on circuitcity.com and compare them to Macbooks.

This laptop is half as much as the Macbook but it has bigger screen and the same hard drive space. The processor speed is only slightly slower but you could easily find a laptop with a slightly faster processor and larger screen for still under $1000. Vizio tv's could also be a cheaper but quality pick for an LCD tv. Hope this helps!
