I have a 97 f150 and am looking for my second car. I am going off to college and so i will be commuteing back and forth a lot but if i get the mustang i will keep my truck as i need it for work so paying insurance kind of outweighs the slightly better gas mileage what does everyone think

  1. I guess you should also compare insurance quotes for the cars before buying one, for example here: http://carquotes.fateback.com

As I know it both expensive to insure.

  2. They are so totally opposite vehicles....I would skip both and look for an economical model.  If you like Fords, buy a Focus.

  3. i wouldnt think ether they are ford's

  4. Suggestion from me is to go with the least expensive insurance since you're in college but don't forget that gas prices are rising all the time. Might take a look at something that is fuel efficient and sporty enough for you too. You're paying for college and need to watch expenses too.

I have a Ford Focus 2002 model and it's great on gas. Not sporty though.

  5. Keep your truck, get a Mustang. It will be better for your long trips. I was getting 25mpg on my Mustang GT.

  6. think of the future of your money. which ever one is better on gas is what i would choose.
