Should I buy a 4GB or 8GB

i mainly want to use it to listen to about 500 songs

store about 100 pictures

and store/watch 4 or 5 movies

they are both good, For movies, music videos, and pictures, but you should buy it off ebay, cause it is cheaper than in stores.

I would go with the 8gb. I have looked online and found that the price difference between the 4gb and 8gb is only like $20 or less on most sites. For that price you might as well as have double the storage space for the future especially if you are storing videos which takes up a lot of space very quickly.. The 16gb and 32gb are way too expensive in my opinion. Just get the 8gb and buy an addtional say 8gb SD card and it ends up being cheaper then buying the 16gb model straight out.

8GB. It doesn't cost that much more and you will have it when you need it.  I thought I only needed 4 gigs but now am happy with 8gigs after loading it up with an mp3 bible.

8gb, with 4gb and the amount of data you intend to have, it could easily be over 4gigs.

if you want 4 or 5 movies you really shouldn't get a 4GB. A movie is about 700k, 1 GB = 1024k? (I think). so yeah.
